Approximately twenty incoming 2105 ETSU freshmen joined  BWP's Sarah Ketron, Ted Leinaar, Rick Wimberly and Deborah Wilkinson and ETSU's Kathleen Moore and Nathanial Hancock Friday, August 21, 2015 to do some litter removal from Brush Creek.  After one and one half hours about 100 pounds of litter were removed to be sent to the landfill.

Calling Volunteers:

To help lead teams of ETSU students who will be doing litter clean ups of along Brush Creek, Johnson City. Folks will be working in the creek and along the banks of the creek from the VA to Watauga St.  If you have them bring your own waders, some waders are available but are limited. Bags, grabbers and gloves will be provided.  Wear appropriate clothing. 

Two clean ups are scheduled for Spring 2017:

Saturday, March 18, 9 to noon, meeting place TBD.

Saturday, Earth Day, April 22, 9 to noon, meeting place TBD.
